Hip Hop International’s Finals Event was Spectacular!
If you remember, along side of Reflective Productions, The Big Juicy helped produce Hip Hop International’s fantastic online experience. This past weekend, The Big Juicy team had the great privilege to attend the finals event. Below is a sample of one of the many dance teams that were on display, and as you can see in the video, it was a show nothing short of breath taking. You can also check out video’s from the rest of their competition here.
Here’s a peak of what was going on backstage and a few other nuggets:
You’ll Love this Shack!

Rich’s Shrimp Shack has come to West Covina! The brick and mortar food establishment that was once the food truck known as ‘The Shrimp Guys’, have created a fantastic little food venue. The Big Juicy has been giving them a hand with some print work, and is currently developing a site for them as well. If you have a hunger, and are in the LA area, definitely check out this restaurant. Fromthe delicious Shack Fries, to every shrimp plate to their Loco Moco and more, everything is absolutely delicious, and yes The Big Juicy team has eaten there…repeatedly!

GreenLB gets The Big Juicy Treatment
The stock market has been pretty wild, the economy is down, and people aren’t able to give as much as they normally could. Green Long Beach! is one of those nonprofits that thrives on feeding information to people to steer for a greener life. Green Long Beach!, like everyone else, needed some help in these tough times, and The Big Juicy wanted to be there to not only help the greenlb.org website get a facelift, but give it a massive beautification boost, speed and bolder marketing pieces. We felt that this organization has some real promise in continuing its mission. Green Long Beach!, a part of catalyst community, will support a greener Long Beach, CA by bringing together individuals and organizations for promoting environmental awareness through:
- environmental education and outreach,
- community gardens and green spaces,
- green jobs and training,
- the annual GreenLB festival, and other environmental based community needs.
Check out the site, spread the word, and help Green Long Beach! continue to push to help our environment!
